Dear Mr Vigeshwar,
It is so nice that you have started this blog with a purpose and achieved it. I would like to put forward a few information to this blog to get your opinion on to it and there by the viewers. Why our people in authority think like this??????

COMPARISION OF PAY SCALE – IAF & US AF- REF. WEB SITE :PAY SCALE US AIRFORCE
• Starting salary scale of an officer(O-1) in US AF- $ 33,941($ 33941- $42703) which is slightly above the pay scale of a Master SGT (equal to JWO) (E7)- $32,155 -$57,791 and much below to a pay scale of (E-8) Senior Master Sergeant (equal to WO) $46,256 -$65,974.
• Whereas pay scale of E-9 Chief Master Sergeant (equal to our MWO) is $56,506 -$87,732 which is much above of a ‘Major’ pay scale is (O-4) Major $51,473 -$85,943 and slightly lower than (O-5) lieutenant colonel $59,656 - $101,354 .
• An MWO with 22 years’ service equal to pay scale of a Lt. Col $ 59400.
• But in IAF starting salary of an officer is 15600+ 5400+6000= 27000 total basic pay.
• whereas JWO gets in the pay band PB2 ,only 10460+4200+ 2000= 16660 and an MWO gets (Rs. 12,560/-) + Grade Pay – (Rs. 4,800/-) + Military Service Pay (MSP) – (Rs. 2,000/-) =19360 not even near to entry level officer, and pay scale of a Lt Col is 37400+ 7600+6000=50600

Hello Mr. Vigeshwar,
I am an X Sgt Krishnamurthy, specialist in Operation Room Assistant Class I.
Today I read about the news, those who are group I diploma holders (I think the benefits given to Technical trades only)will get Engineering Graduation Certificate ( to claim we have to contact AFRO ).
Now, like me so many Ex IAF medical assistant diploma holders in medical specialty class I in IAF service. Do they also get specialty graduation certificate as like B.Sc., in Nursing / Operation Theater / Lab / Pharmacy / Physiotherapy so on?
I have served for 20 years. This will benefit them in their promotion who joined state/central/private hospitals after retirement. Service issued only class I certificate, now, I claim that, those who are completed 15 or more service in military should be equally qualified Graduation in their medical specialty.
Please clear the doubts or matter can be taken up for benefits in favor of all Ex Medical Assts.
