FURTHER UPDATE ON WP(C) 796/2023 ON TABLE 7 & 8 of 'X' GROUP PAY

Datewise hearing details of our matters in the Supreme Court in Chronological Order As per law, whenever any fresh Writ Petition is filled in any Court and if the court accepted it, then the court registrar issues three continuous notices to respondents to file their counter affidavit. First hearing of our matters WP(C)-796/2023 on the bench of CJI was on 04 08.2023 and notice was issued to respondents. Then the next two notices were issued on 03.10.2023 & 09.11.2023. Thereafter three more Writ Petitions were filed by TAWVA and two NAVAL associations which tagged with our matters. For these three tagged Writ Petitions , three notice service completed in next 9 dates between 08.12.223 to 19.09.2025.Till dates, Respondents didn't file any counter affidavit against any writ petition. Meantime, we filed one Invention application in August 2025 for urgent hearing of our matters as respondents started recovery of pension from pensioners like petitioners and for urgent hearing of this IA, we mentioned in front of bench on 04.12.2025. Thereafter, our matter came on the bench for hearing on 11.11.2025 and stay order passed to stop recovery of pension and asked the respondents to file counter affidavit at the earliest. Then only respondents filed a counter affidavit against our writ petition on 06.12.2025 . On the next date of hearing on 08.12.2025, we have taken time to file rejoinder against counter affidavit filed by respondents and filed rejoinder on 31.12.2025. Further on the next hearing on 19.01.2026, tagged petitioners asked for Counter affidavit against their Writ Petitions however Respondents had filed a common counter affidavit against all writ petitions as matter is the same. On that date, the bench had given a final chance to petitioners and Respondents both to complete their pleadings before the next date of hearing on 26.02.2026. Unfortunately our matter couldn't be taken up on 26.02.2026. Last hearing was on 19.03.2026 and Respondents requested for adjournment as Additional Solicitor General was not available for arguments and the bench accepted it and posted the matters on 21.04.2026 for further hearing . On that day also, our legal team tried their best to put matters in details in front of the bench. These are datewise development of our matters in the Supreme Court. We are fortunate that our matters have come in the hearing stage comparatively fast. Now, I again appeal to all veterans across the Tri Services to have faith in the judiciary system and extend your financial support to meet legal expenses for further hiring Sr. Advocate for strong argument/plea to have every possible way to win the case in our favour. It is a do or die situation for all Veterans for their financial as well as moral win.
